Since 1995, GARD has been giving visibility to our artists, and with the aim of expanding our collective of professionals, we invite all adult artists of any nationality to participate in the preselection process.

GUIDELINES

1. CONOMIC CONDITIONS

The purpose of our preselection is to find new artists and help them promote their work and sell their pieces. Participation costs 20 euros per artist and up to 4 works can be sent (we accept PayPal and bank transfers) and offers the opportunity to join the group of artists who work with us and have access to gallery exhibitions.

2. THEME

This is an open call for all artistic proposals, without thematic limitations, with the aim of providing a coherent view of the artist’s journey. However, the submitted works must comply with current legislation. Artists are responsible for the content of their works and assume any legal implications that may arise from them. The organization reserves the right to remove any work it deems inappropriate at any time.

3. CATEGORIES

We accept the participation of works in any artistic discipline. To facilitate the selection process, we have established the following categories:

Painting / Illustration (analog / digital) / Engraving / Photography / Sculpture / Dance / Performance / Video Art / Music / Ceramics / Mode / Accessories / New technologies (AI)

If your work does not fit into any of these categories, feel free to submit it anyway. The call is open to any technique or artistic discipline. Each artist can submit up to 4 works, including series as a single piece.

4. PARTICIPATION

To participate in the preselection process, send an email to silviabaseggio@yahoo.com with the subject "GARD Preselection". Attach the completed entry form along with at least two images of each submitted work and proof of payment.

5. DATES

Proposal submission: from 1th to 29th of the month. Each proposal submitted in the following days will be considered for the next selection.

Notification of selected artists: day 30th of the month.

6. SELECTION

The selection of artists will be carried out by the organizers of the GARD 2024 Artist Preselection, who will evaluate each proposal individually.

7. NOTIFICATION

The selected artists will be notified on the 30th of each month and then they will have access to the planned exhibitions, where they will be able to evaluate their participation.

Selection offers artists the unmissable opportunity to join the GARD gallery collective, which grants access to the annual exhibitions organized by the gallery.

8. ARTWORK EVALUATION

We do not set a price for the works, but we offer advice to artists who request it.

9. CONDITIONS

If selected, GARD will contact the artist to inform them about the exhibitions that will take place at the gallery and offer them the opportunity to include their work(s). The cost of participation will depend on the number of selected works and their dimensions.

GARD will be responsible for organizing the exhibitions, printing captions, and producing graphic materials to promote the event, both in physical and digital formats. Events are promoted in the media, both in print and digital, as well as on our social media: Instagram - Facebook
