Founded in 1995, GARD has established itself as a significant meeting point for emerging artists, becoming a space for connection and artistic experimentation.

Since 1995, GARD has been giving visibility to our artists, and with the aim of expanding our collective of professionals, we invite all adult artists of any nationality to participate in the selection process.

In the heart of ROME

The gallery is located near the Piramide METRO station, making it easily accessible. The Pyramid of Cestius is an Egyptian-style structure situated next to Porta San Paolo.

Extensive curatorial work

GARD regularly organizes calls for submissions on various themes, encompassing all forms of art. These exhibitions are framed within a defined concept and aim to provide visibility and recognition for the work of contemporary creators.

Cultural activism

The gallery also hosts concerts, fashion shows, tastings, guided tours, and various cultural activities.

COLLABORATIONS

GARD collaborates with museums, cultural institutions, universities, foundations, and other international art galleries, both local and foreign, and is sponsored by the Municipality RM XI of Rome.

SONIA MAZZOLI

Artist and curator, Sonia embarks on a career as a gallerist with the goal of spreading contemporary art across the globe and creating a space that showcases the remarkable work of talented contemporary creators.

Since the inception of GARD, she has shared the art scene with Marina Zatta, a great ally and friend.

MARINA ZATTA

Artistic Director of the SOQQUADRO association, curator, and journalist, she has always been dedicated to organizing art events and writing press releases for national media. Additionally, she runs a blog and hosts a radio show.

SILVIA ELISA BASEGGIO

Contemporary visual artist, Silvia joins the GARD universe, captivated by the gallery's mission of promoting art. Thus begins a collaboration that will take artist selection projects to an international scale.
